Cristina Fernandez is an accomplished professional in clinical research and nutrition with extensive experience in project management and coordination. Currently serving as a Project Manager at DaVita Clinical Research since April 2018, Cristina's previous roles include Senior Clinical Research Coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinator. Prior to DaVita, Cristina held the position of Supervisor Nutritionist at the City of El Paso Department of Public Health-WIC. At Baylor College of Medicine, Cristina contributed as a Research Coordinator, focusing on patient recruitment for the National Diabetes Study, GRADE, and served as a Project Intern in a pediatrics research center. Cristina's early experience includes a paid summer internship with Share Our Strength as a Youth Ambassador for the No Kid Hungry Campaign. Educational qualifications include a Professional Science Masters in Applied Nutrition from the University of Arizona, a Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Houston, a Certificate in Public Health from The University of Texas at El Paso, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Houston.
