Ally Smith is an experienced professional with a background in social research, nonprofit development, and community support. Currently serving as an Associate at Davis Pier Consulting since February 2023, Ally focuses on designing solutions for complex social issues faced by governments. Previous roles include Content Writer at Fundraising KIT, where insights on technology and data in nonprofit fundraising were shared; Social Entrepreneur at Elm Cafe, promoting community engagement and training for disadvantaged youth; and Research Officer at The Young Foundation, contributing to community-building research. Educational accomplishments include a Graduate Degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Politics from Acadia University.
