Russell Barnes serves as the Chief Executive Officer of David Lloyd Leisure since April 2021, after holding the position of Chief Operating Officer at DAVID LLOYD CLUBS LIMITED from September 2015 to April 2021. Prior to this, Russell Barnes held various significant roles at Merlin Entertainments plc, including Divisional Director of Midway Europe and Divisional Director of Midway Development, overseeing the management and launch of multiple brands across Europe and new markets internationally. Russell Barnes also gained experience as Divisional Director at Alton Towers Resort and General Manager at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, with an early career as Attractions Manager at Chessington World of Adventures. Educational background includes studies at Polytechnic South West, Plymouth, and Wallington County Grammar School.
