Eric Apodaca serves as Chief of Security at David C Cook since February 2020, overseeing the company's physical security programs and safeguarding staff and assets. Additionally, Eric holds the position of Senior Advisor of Safety and Security at the DCC Corporate location in Colorado Springs, which functions as part of the "Save the Storks" foundation. Since February 2012, Eric has been a Board Member at Sarah's Home Corporation, a faith-based residential facility for girls aged 12 to 18 who have escaped sex trafficking. Prior to these roles, Eric retired as a sworn Colorado State Certified CLETA Peace Officer in February 2020 after nearly 30 years with the City of Colorado Springs Police Department, gaining extensive expertise in various areas of law enforcement, investigations, and community safety.
