Balvinder Dang has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Balvinder started their career with Infosys Technologies Ltd as a programmer and quickly advanced to become a Technology Lead, gaining expertise in Java, J2EE, Oracle RDBMS, and MarkLogic NoSQL database technologies. During this time, they led a team and developed various mission-critical data-centric applications for Fortune 500 companies.

Following their tenure at Infosys, Balvinder joined Yell Group as a Senior Developer, where they worked on web and B2B applications. Balvinder implemented a web crawler application using Java, J2EE, and MarkLogic to scrape data from customer websites.

Balvinder then moved on to John Wiley and Sons, where they contributed to the development of the search service for the Wiley Online Library project. This project received recognition with the Wiley President's team award for Outstanding Technological Achievement.

Balvinder later joined Reed Elsevier as an Application Architect and Technical Lead, responsible for designing and developing clustered REST API based services for the publishing platform. Balvinder utilized Java 8, AWS technologies (EC2, Dynamo DB), Elasticsearch, and various other tools and methodologies, including Agile and CI/CD.

In 2014, Balvinder joined MarkLogic as a Principal Consultant and was subsequently promoted to Senior Principal Consultant and Technical Manager. Balvinder provided highly specialized MarkLogic consultancy services to Fortune 500 companies, including designing data models, architecting technical solutions, delivering data platforms, and providing database performance monitoring and optimization. Balvinder also conducted MarkLogic Database bespoke trainings and developed solutions using Java, J2EE, XML, XSLT, XQuery, NodeJS, Angular, and related technologies.

Balvinder's most recent experience includes being a Franchise Owner at Window To The Womb, a leader in obstetric ultrasound scans in the UK. Balvinder is also the Owner/Founder of Datavid, showcasing their entrepreneurship skills.

Balvinder Dang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Doctor Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University in the years 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, Balvinder attended St Pauls School from 1987 to 1998, with no specified degree or field of study mentioned.
