Balvinder Dang has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Balvinder started their career with Infosys Technologies Ltd as a programmer and quickly advanced to become a Technology Lead, gaining expertise in Java, J2EE, Oracle RDBMS, and MarkLogic NoSQL database technologies. During this time, they led a team and developed various mission-critical data-centric applications for Fortune 500 companies.
Following their tenure at Infosys, Balvinder joined Yell Group as a Senior Developer, where they worked on web and B2B applications. Balvinder implemented a web crawler application using Java, J2EE, and MarkLogic to scrape data from customer websites.
Balvinder then moved on to John Wiley and Sons, where they contributed to the development of the search service for the Wiley Online Library project. This project received recognition with the Wiley President's team award for Outstanding Technological Achievement.
Balvinder later joined Reed Elsevier as an Application Architect and Technical Lead, responsible for designing and developing clustered REST API based services for the publishing platform. Balvinder's most recent experience includes being a Franchise Owner at Window To The Womb, a leader in obstetric ultrasound scans in the UK. Balvinder is also the Owner/Founder of Datavid, showcasing their entrepreneurship skills.
