Jack Danger Canty currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Datavant since August 2024. Prior to this role, Jack was an Advisor & Author at Pathstream, where guidance was provided, and several other companies were fractionally led. Jack held the position of VP of Engineering at Pathstream, significantly contributing to the company's growth before achieving product/market fit. Earlier experiences include leading the Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Organization at Gusto, overseeing Diversity and Inclusion efforts, and co-founding Opsolutely, where a cloud deployment tool was developed. Jack's extensive background at Square included leading multiple engineering teams and improving internal systems during the company's IPO. Jack co-founded Cloops.com, a local advertising platform, and served as Lead Engineer at M Research, focusing on web applications in niche job markets. Jack earned a degree from the University of Washington in 2004.
