Deron Dowhower is an experienced leader in strategic initiatives and planning within the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Datavant since September 2019, Deron partners with cross-functional leaders to advance the company's vision through strategic planning, budget management, and M&A integration. Previous positions include Vice President of Planning and Performance at Datavant, where responsibilities involved budget setting and managing key projects within the CIO organization, and Vice President of Professional Services at OnSolve, focusing on enhancing customer experience. Deron also held various roles at Jabian Consulting, IBM Global Business Services, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, gaining expertise in strategic planning, operations optimization, and technology transformation. Deron began a professional career as a pitcher in the Minnesota Twins minor league system after earning a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
