Vincent Royer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Vincent most recently worked at Exostrive as a Big Data Engineer starting in 2022. Prior to that, Vincent worked at DataStax from 2020 onwards as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on developing new products in the streaming team. Before joining DataStax, Vincent was the CEO and Founder of Strapdata from 2017 to 2020. At Strapdata, they created Elassandra, an Elasticsearch plugin for Apache Cassandra, and provided consulting, support, and enterprise-grade features for Elassandra.

Vincent also has a background in database administration, having served as the Database Administration Manager at Euro Information from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Cofidis France from 2005 to 2013 as the Responsable système, base de données et sécurité.
