Jeremy Hanna has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles.

Jeremy started working in 2003 as a Software Developer for LDSSingles.com, where they developed new features and upgraded the website's functionality.

In 2004, Jeremy worked as a Software Developer for Shopzilla.com, where they maintained and developed software for product feeds.

From 2005 to 2007, they served as a Software Consultant for Software Technology Group, focusing on improving overall website functionality for customers using various technologies.

In 2007, Jeremy joined FeatureFifty as a Build Manager and Software Developer, responsible for maintaining and extending the build system for a large development team.

In 2008, they joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a Software Engineer, contributing to the organization's software development projects.

From 2010 to 2011, Jeremy worked as a Senior Software Developer for Rackspace Hosting, where they contributed to infrastructure development and made Cassandra more multi-tenant capable.

During the same period, they also worked at The Dachis Group as a Systems Architect, focusing on architecture and implementation of storage and analytics engines.

Jeremy joined DataStax in 2012 as a Senior Support Engineer, providing support for customers using DataStax products. Jeremy also played a role in establishing support operations in different regions and building community awareness.

In 2014, they became a Vanguard Solutions Architect for DataStax, working on challenging use cases and becoming a subject matter expert in new products.

From 2019 to 2022, Jeremy served as a Data Architect for DataStax, relocating to Sydney, Australia to build the technical pre-sales organization and community around DataStax enterprise and related technologies.

More recently, in 2022, they transitioned to the role of Product Manager at DataStax, where they continue to contribute to the development and promotion of the company's offerings.

Jeremy Hanna attended Brigham Young University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. From 2004 to 2006, they attended the University of Southern California, focusing on Computer Science, but did not attain a degree during that time.
