Annie Phan has a diverse work experience starting from 2015. Annie began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at MotiveMetrics in 2015. In 2016, they interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Nextdoor. Annie then worked as a Technical Instructor at ITMO University in 2017. Annie continued their career as a Software Engineer at Medumo from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, Annie held multiple roles including Research Assistant at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC), Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, and Data Science Intern at the University of Chicago Crime Lab. Annie also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at NORC at the University of Chicago from 2020 to 2021. Most recently, Annie joined DataStax in 2023 as a Solutions Engineer.

Annie Phan attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
