Jennifer Siler has a diverse work experience. Jennifer started their career as a Science teacher at Washington Local Schools in 2005. During their time there, they developed strong skills in incorporating technology in the classroom and was frequently recognized by the administration for their ideas and demonstrations. Jennifer also displayed exceptional multitasking, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Jennifer utilized their research and analytical abilities to improve their own efficiency and constantly sought new knowledge.

In 2016, Jennifer took on the role of a Curriculum Developer at Jen Siler's Classroom, where they designed and created a blog to provide support, organizational strategies, and curriculum ideas to secondary science teachers.

In 2020, Jennifer joined Chisholm Trail High School as an AP Biology/OnRamps Chemistry teacher. Jennifer excelled in data analysis and interpretation, tracking student performance, identifying trends, and making informed instructional decisions. Jennifer also managed large amounts of data through database design and utilization of tools like Access and Notion. Their problem-solving and organizational skills remained strong, and they continuously searched for innovative strategies to address student challenges and improve learning outcomes.

In the same year, Jennifer worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Keller ISD. Here, they gained practical experience in successfully managing a classroom environment.

Jennifer Siler obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Adolescent Education (7-12) from The University of Toledo in the years 2000-2005. Jennifer then pursued their Master's of Science and Education degree in Biology, General from the same university from 2014-2017. In August 2018, Jennifer obtained a Texas Teaching License from the Texas Education Agency. Prior to that, in May 2017, they obtained an Ohio Teaching License from the Ohio Department of Education.
