Dedy Prasetiady has worked in the software engineering field since 2014. Dedy began their career as a Web Developer at PT Imani Prima, where they helped maintain an integration platform built using Java and Spring framework. In 2017, they joined Bukalapak as a Software Engineer, where they served as Engineering Squad Lead in the Chat Squad. Theirprimary responsibilities included developing and maintaining microservices related to chat, written in Elixir, Golang, and Ruby. Dedy also worked with Docker, Kubernetes, and Gitlab CI/CD for deployment. In 2020, they were appointed as Principal Engineer at Datasaur.

Dedy Prasetiady obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Institut Teknologi Bandung between 2010 and 2016.
