Wai Kit Tsang has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at dataroots since April 2020. Prior to that, they were a PHD Student Data Analytics at UGent from October 2015 until their current position at dataroots.

Wai Kit Tsang has a strong educational background in data analytics and environmental technology. Wai Kit received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Data Analytics from Ghent University, where they studied from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Bioengineering with a focus on Environmental Technology at Ghent University from 2013 to 2015. Wai Kit Tsang began their academic journey at the University of Antwerp, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Bioscience Engineering, specializing in Environmental Technology, from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Wai Kit Tsang has also obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. In June 2020, they became a Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 2.4. Wai Kit also holds certifications from Microsoft, including DP-200 Implementing an Azure Data Solution, DP-201: Designing an Azure Data Solution, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, all obtained in May 2020. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuously expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of data engineering and technology.
