Paolo Léonard has experience working as a Data & Cloud Engineer at KBC Bank & Verzekering, where they developed a data quality framework using Great Expectations and coordinated training for the tool. Paolo also developed and maintained pipelines in a production environment. Prior to that, Paolo worked as a Data Engineer at dataroots, where they taught new joiners about Great Expectations, Spark, and Python, and coached a cross-functional team. Earlier in their career, Paolo was a Vision Intern at Octinion.

Paolo Léonard's education history is as follows:

From 2018 to 2020, Paolo attended KU Leuven and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science.

Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, Paolo studied at the University of Liège and completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree. The field of study for this degree is unknown.

Earlier, from 2014 to 2016, Paolo attended KU Leuven and earned a Bachelor's degree in Ingenieurwetenschappen (Engineering Sciences).

In addition to their formal education, Paolo has also obtained several certifications. In January 2022, they became a Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0. In July 2021, Paolo achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.

Furthermore, in May 2022, Paolo completed the Spécialisation Google Project Management certification through Coursera. Paolo also obtained the Prefect Associate Certification in April 2023 from the institution Prefect.
