Daan De Wit has worked as a Data Engineer Consultant at dataroots since September 2021. Daan also holds the same position at KBC Bank & Verzekering starting from October 2021. Prior to their current roles, they were a Data Scientist at I-care Group from September 2020 to September 2021. Daan has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at KU Leuven from September 2019 to December 2019 and had an internship as a Software Engineer at Actemium from August 2019 to September 2019.

Daan De Wit holds a Master after Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, with a specialization in Big Data Analytics, which was obtained from KU Leuven from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Electronics and ICT Engineering, focusing on Internet Computing, from KU Leuven between 2018 and 2019. From 2015 to 2018, Daan De Wit obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and ICT Engineering from KU Leuven. Additionally, they have earned several certifications including Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 from Databricks in July 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022, and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in May 2022.
