Michael Long serves as the Chief Technology Officer at DataRef since February 2024, following a role as Director of Engineering at Universal Electronics from June 2022 to January 2024. Previously, Long held the position of Vice President of Seller Tools at ATG (Auction Technology Group), where responsibilities included managing technology and customer transition after the acquisition of Wavebid. As a co-founder and CTO of Wavebid from August 2011 to January 2020, Long played a crucial role in developing the technology product portfolio, guiding the startup through successful growth and exit. Earlier experience includes roles at Jostens as Senior Enterprise Architect, and various positions in consulting and technical architecture across multiple companies, beginning with Compuware as Senior Analyst. Long holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
