Jonathan Waters has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. jonathan started their career as a Systems Engineer at Cincom Systems in 1973 and worked there until 1980. In 1991, they joined Datamaxx as the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, where they continue to work.

Jonathan Waters attended Hillfield Strathallan College from 1954 to 1966, where they obtained a Grade 13 degree in General Academic. jonathan then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics at McMaster University from 1966 to 1969.
