Valerie Sui's work experience includes being a Senior Software Engineer at DataGrail since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at DataGrail from October 2018. At DataGrail, Valerie played a role in developing a privacy platform that helps brands build privacy programs and stay compliant with regulations.

Before joining DataGrail, Valerie was a Full Stack Web Developer Student at App Academy from April 2018 to July 2018. Valerie underwent a competitive software development program focused on full-stack web development and various web development principles and practices.

Valerie also worked as an Aviation Data Analyst at ATAC from June 2015 to July 2018. Their responsibilities included conducting airport and airspace noise and emissions analysis studies using Excel, R, and air traffic data visualization software.

Prior to ATAC, Valerie worked as a Teaching Associate at San Jose State University from August 2013 to May 2015. Valerie instructed college algebra courses, prepared lectures and assessments, and communicated with students using web-based platforms.

Valerie also served as a Data Analyst at SAVDS, Inc. from June 2014 to November 2014. Their role involved analyzing airborne vehicle positional data and contributing to a NASA-funded contract.

Additionally, Valerie worked as a Teaching Assistant and Grader for the Department of Mathematics at the University of California San Diego from September 2010 to June 2012.

Valerie Sui earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Mathematics from UC San Diego between the years 2008 and 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mathematics at San Jose State University from 2012 to 2015. In 2018, Valerie also completed a Full Stack Web Development program at App Academy.
