Reilly Wood is a software engineer currently working at UrbanLogiq since April 2023, focusing on building the SaaS platform using Rust for the back-end and TypeScript with React for the front-end. Prior experience includes serving as a technical lead at Canalyst from March 2020 to March 2022, where Reilly contributed to next-generation tooling for equity analysts in C#, mentored junior developers, and helped define technical direction. At Orbis Investments, from May 2011 to July 2019, Reilly developed both back-end and front-end software for market data and fund accounting, utilizing technologies such as C#, TypeScript, SQL Server, Kafka, Angular, and Node. Previous positions also include a co-op role at IBM, where Reilly worked on archiving software using C++ and C#, and a co-op position at TELUS, focused on developing testing tools for Java projects. Reilly holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia and received a Monbukagakusho Scholarship from Osaka University in 2007.
