Laurent Paris currently serves as SVP Engineering for the Core Engineering Team at Datadog since October 2023. Prior experience includes SVP R&D at Astronomer from November 2021 to October 2023 and CEO & Co-Founder of Datakin from November 2019 to November 2021. Laurent held the position of CTO at WeWork, where significant growth of the Technology team was achieved, expanding from 150 to 800 in two years. Previous roles at Spotify included VP of Engineering, overseeing the expansion of the team responsible for music recommendations. Laurent's earlier career at Yahoo! featured various leadership positions in engineering, managing teams across different regions and focusing on content delivery and search relevance. Initial experience included R&D at Eloquant and software architecture roles at Hewlett-Packard. Laurent earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from CentraleSupélec.
