Eric S. Kim started their work experience at Datacrunch Global in 2016, where they served as the Founder and CEO. At Datacrunch Global, they led the company in providing Augmented Intelligence based Data Science as a Service (DaaS) and Data Science Based Management Consulting to global buyout PEs, PE portfolios, and MNCs. Eric S. also developed the Datacrunch Business Decision Solution (BDS), which integrated segregated data across the enterprise to streamline near-time data for management decision-making. Eric's role at Datacrunch Global involved utilizing forecasting and simulation to empower management decisions.

In 2017, Eric joined Hanyang University as an Adjunct Professor at the School of International Studies. Eric S. later also became an Adjunct Professor at the School of Business. Additionally, they served as a Board Member of the Industry Advisory Board at Hanyang University.

Eric's work experience expanded to the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology in 2023, where they became an Adjunct Professor at the School of Business Administration.

In 2022, Eric took on roles at AMCHAM Korea, serving as the Chair of the Marketing & Communication Committee and also as a Premier Corporate Partner.

At the University of Missouri-Columbia, Eric held multiple roles within the Korean Chapter Alumni Association and the Economics Department Korean Chapter Alumni Association where they served as the Secretary and was a member of the Steering Committee.

In 2023, Eric became a Chair Professor of the AAPBS-King Fahd Program at the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools.

Before these experiences, Eric worked at BearingPoint as a Project Business Analyst from 2002 to 2006.

Eric S. Kim holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Management Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Eric S. also has a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
