Mary Petersen is a seasoned nonprofit fundraising expert with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Mary serves as the Founder and Host of the Hey Fundraiser podcast, launched in January 2023, focusing on practical fundraising strategies. As the Founder of Databasey since February 2013, Mary has developed tools that enhance fundraising operations for over 500 nonprofit organizations. Mary also partners with Alford Group to improve client fundraising operations and has held significant positions such as Director of Annual Giving at Swedish Medical Center and Director of Development at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, among others. With a Master's degree from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton, Mary brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the nonprofit sector.
