David Polansky has over 35 years of professional work experience. From 2014 to present, they have been employed as a Senior Software Engineer and Sr Software Engineer at Data Solutions International. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at McKesson Corporation, where they created a SaaS hospital scheduling application for medical offices. From 1998 to 2007, they were a Sr. Software Engineer at CBCA / Health Risk Management, where they developed and maintained external and internal web sites for CBCA. From 1985 to 1998, they were a Sr. Software Engineer at Silicon Graphic, Inc. / Cray Research, Inc., where they led the NQE 3.3 project. From 1984 to 1985, they were a Software Engineer at IBM, where they created RAS reports for the System 36 and System product lines.

David Polansky attended St. Olaf College from 1975 to 1979, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Math and Chemistry. David then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1979 to 1980, but did not receive a degree. Finally, they attended the University of Minnesota from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a Master's degree in Statistics.
