Kimber Bougan

VP, Content at Data Protocol

Kimber Bougan has extensive experience in the field of instructional design and learning. Currently, they hold the role of VP, Content at Data Protocol, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as VP, Learning at the same company from January 2022. From September 2021 to January 2022, they worked as the Director of Learning at Data Protocol.

Before joining Data Protocol, Kimber Bougan worked at Amazon as an Instructional Designer from March 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at PhishLabs as a Sr. Instructional Designer, leading a team in the creation of interactive learning solutions to combat cyber threats from August 2017 to March 2020.

Kimber Bougan's career also includes a role as an Instructional Systems Designer II at Benefitfocus from August 2014 to August 2017, where they contributed to the development and delivery of formal learning programs. Additionally, they worked at AppRiver as a Training and Curriculum Development Specialist and as a Training & Development Intern from December 2013 to August 2014.

Kimber Bougan's early career involved working in the field of Industrial & Organizational Consulting at the University of West Florida in 2013. Overall, they have a breadth of experience in designing and implementing effective learning solutions across various industries.

Kimber Bougan completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Florida, starting in 2008 and finishing in 2011. Kimber then pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of West Florida from 2012 to 2014.

In terms of certifications, Kimber obtained a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) in October 2015. In the same month, they also obtained a Compensation Management Specialist certification and a Group Benefits Associate certification from IFEBP. Most recently, in April 2022, they acquired an Apps 4 Kids certification from Data Protocol and a Privacy Engineering Certification from the same institution in June 2022.
