Shanker Koladi (Sam Menon) has a long history of work experience, beginning in 1987. Shanker Koladi started as a Senior Sales Engineer (Telecommunications) at Escorts Limited, then moved to Senior Vice President Sales at Fourth Technologies Inc. in 1993. In 2004, they became President (Retail Division) at M S Technology Inc. and in 2005, they founded Menon Consulting Inc. In 2007, they became Director (Domain Services) at TAKE Solutions, then in 2009, they founded Two95 International, Inc. Finally, in 2016, they co-founded SMACAR Solutions, Inc., and in 2018, they co-founded Data Labeler.

Shanker Koladi (Sam Menon) has a diverse educational background. Shanker Koladi completed their high school education at K V Malleswaram, Bangalore from 1968 to 1980. Shanker Koladi then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (specialization in Microprocessors) at Ramaiah Institute Of Technology from 1980 to 1984. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Management from Rutgers University - Camden in 2001-2003.
