Dr. Max Hecht has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Dr. Max started their career as a Working Student at the Institute for laboratory medicine, Leipzig University Hospital from February 2010 to April 2014. Dr. Max then worked as a Field Analyst at TICTAC Communications Ltd from August 2018 to August 2019. After that, they joined Analytical Services International as a Trainee Study Director from December 2018 to November 2019, where they were responsible for bioanalytical method development and validation. In 2019, Dr. Hecht became the Chief Technology Officer at Spectra&Mass, where they held the role until September 2021. Dr. Max then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Fraunhofer ITMP from March 2021 to November 2021. Currently, Dr. Hecht serves as the Head of Lab Innovation at DasLab starting from November 2021.

Dr. Max Hecht completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Leipzig University from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Max then pursued a Master of Science in Biochemistry at Leipzig University from 2012 to 2015. After that, they attended the University of Tartu, where they obtained a Master of Science in Applied Measurement Science from 2014 to 2016. Dr. Max furthered their education at the University of Tartu, completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from 2016 to 2020.
