Quyen Kiem has held various positions in the medical field since 2009. Quyen began their career as a Registered Nurse I at Children's National Medical Center in 2009. In 2010, they became a Circulator, Charge OR RN at Palisades Eye Surgery Center. In 2011, they were an Interventional Radiology Nurse at American Access Care. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Center Operations Manager at Fresenius Vascular Care. From 2014 to 2019, they were the Clinical Director at WILL SURGICAL ARTS. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Interventional Registered Nurse and Center Operations Manager at MEDSTAR SHAH MEDICAL GROUP WALDORF. Currently, Quyen Kiem is a Division Director and Corporate Monitor at DAS Federal, LLC.

Quyen Kiem obtained a Diploma from Academy of the Holy Cross in General Studies from 1996 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from The Catholic University of America. From 2006 to 2008, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Nurse Leader from the University of Maryland Baltimore. In 2008, they obtained a Registered Nurse certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing. In 2020, they obtained an Infection Control Program Manager certification from ProCEO. In 2022, they obtained a Certified CMMI Associate certification from ISACA. Quyen also has certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experienced Provider (ACLS) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
