Sophie Jackson is currently a receptionist at Darwin Escapes since June 2023 and previously held the same role at LeBoat from May to August 2021. In September 2022, Sophie served as a Fieldwork Volunteer on Mt. Etna with The Open University, where responsibilities included monitoring the volcano's movements using GPS and precise measuring techniques. Prior to these roles, Sophie worked as a customer service assistant at Tesco from March to June 2020. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Volcanology from the University of Bristol, ongoing until August 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from Swansea University, completed in June 2023. Early education included A Levels and GCSEs obtained from Merchant Taylors'​ Oxfordshire Academy Trust, Wallingford School, and Brightwell Primary School between September 2013 and June 2020.
