Michelle Curran has extensive experience in healthcare compliance, with a focus on HIPAA privacy regulations. Currently serving as Senior HIPAA Privacy Compliance at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics since February 2013, Michelle oversees complex tasks related to audit reviews, training, and mentoring, while actively collaborating with team members to address privacy concerns for patients and staff. Previously, Michelle held various positions at Aetna, including Outreach Specialist and Care Management Associate, where initiatives to engage Medicaid members were implemented. Michelle's earlier experience includes roles as a Licensed Nursing Assistant at Concord Hospital and Genesis HealthCare, as well as customer service and contract administration positions at Hewlett-Packard and Digital Equipment. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Management from UNH Online and is certified in multiple privacy compliance areas, including CHPS and CIFHA.
