Ulrich Zorin, M.Sc., is an experienced professional in traffic management and road infrastructure, currently serving as a member of various working groups for the Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR) and holding board positions with the Section of Engineers, the Chamber of Engineers of Slovenia, and the Slovenian Society for Intelligent Transport Systems. Zorin has been the President of The Association of Traffic Engineers of Slovenia since November 2017 and has worked as an External Lecturer at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture, University of Maribor. With a career at DARS d.d. that began in March 2003, Zorin has taken on multiple leadership roles, including Head of Department for New Technology Development and Director of Motorway Management. Zorin's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Traffic from the University of Maribor and ongoing PhD studies in Road Traffic, focusing on accident prediction models for tunnels.
