Silvia Maia has a diverse work experience in the dairy industry. Silvia currently holds the position of Sales Director of the USA and Latin America at Darigold, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Regional Sales and Broker Manager at BelGioioso Cheese Inc. from August 2017 to November 2022.

Before joining BelGioioso, Silvia served as an International Sales Manager at Saputo Inc. from June 2014 to May 2017.

Their earliest work experience in the industry was at Ecoval Dairy Trade Group, where they initially worked as an International Logistics specialist from February 2008 to January 2010. Later, they transitioned into the role of Trader responsible for the sales of dairy products into Central America. Silvia remained in this position from February 2008 to April 2014. Overall, Silvia Maia has gained extensive experience in sales, logistics, and international trade in the dairy industry.

From 2004 to 2007, Silvia Maia attended the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Marketing.
