Vicky Chi serves as the Head of Data Strategy and VP at Daraz since April 2020, leading significant advancements in AI translation algorithms and the development of localized applications, achieving substantial user growth and conversion rates. Prior to this role, Vicky was the Lead Data Product Manager at Daraz, building and managing a team responsible for product strategy across eight domains. Vicky’s previous experience includes serving as Regional Finance Controller at Bolemart, where notable achievements included the launch of a mobile feature enhancing user retention and the implementation of an ERP system that streamlined operations. Additional roles include Research Project Manager at NUS Business School, Regional BI Finance Associate at Shopee, and a Special Project Intern for the CFO at foodpanda. Vicky holds a Master’s degree in Statistics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Wuhan University.
