Rod Hale has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and industries. Rod began their career in 1981 with the Middletown Division of Police, where they served as a Sergeant, Detective, and Police Officer for almost two decades. In 2000, they transitioned to the City of Trenton, OH, where they held the position of Chief of Police for six years. In 2006, Hale joined Johnson Controls as a Senior Operations Manager until 2008. Following that, they worked at Aegis Protective Services, initially as the Director of Operations for ten years and later as the Vice President/Business Development. Additionally, since 2009, Hale has served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Marshall and Cliff Park High Schools.
Rod Hale attended Miami University and the University of Louisville from 1988 to 1999. Rod studied Public Administration during this time. In addition, they obtained a certification from the Police Executive Leadership College, although specific details about the institution and dates of completion are unknown.
