Søren Klein has a strong background in data engineering and business intelligence with various roles throughout their career. Søren currently works as a Data Engineering Team Lead at Danske Spil since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as a BI Tech Lead at the same company from January 2020 until February 2023. Before joining Danske Spil, Søren worked as a BI Transformation Manager at Falck from April 2019 to January 2020 and as a BI architect at Maersk Tankers from February 2018 to March 2019. Søren has also held positions such as Senior BI Consultant & Excellence Lead at Projectum ApS, Managing Consultant & Teamlead at Rehfeld Partners A/S, Analytics Architect at Raptor Services A/S, and Manager, Business Intelligence Copenhagen at d60. Søren has a solid foundation in the field, with expertise in data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics.

Søren Klein attended Copenhagen Business School from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Cand.Merc (dat.) degree in Business Administration and Computer Science. Prior to that, they studied at Niels Brock from 1996 to 2000, completing an HHx degree. In addition to their formal education, Søren obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: SQL Server 2012, MCSE: Business Intelligence, and several others.
