Niall McGarry, Chartered FCIPD, currently serves as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Danske Bank UK, where responsibilities include leading the Personal Banking HR team and developing the Personal Banking People Strategy since January 2016. Prior to this role, Niall held the position of HR Business Partner at Royal Bank of Scotland Group from 2004 to 2015, overseeing HR functions for Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and Asset Finance in Ireland. Niall’s earlier experience includes serving as Divisional HR Manager at Moy Park, where key responsibilities involved employee relations, remuneration, benefits, and HR team development, and as Personnel & Development Manager at Tesco, focusing on HR integration during a corporate merger. Niall McGarry holds a PG Diploma in Management of Training and Development and a BA (Hons) in Business Enterprise Development from Ulster University.
