Alvaro Martínez de Marcos currently serves as Head of Acoustics and Product Manager at DANOSA since February 2020. Additionally, Alvaro is a member of several national and international committees related to building acoustics, including CTN-UNE and ISO/TC 43/SC 2. Alvaro has previous experience as an EBA basketball referee for the Federación Española de Baloncesto from September 2014 to September 2023 and worked as an architectural technician at ABS Casas Pasivas Madrid from July 2015 to February 2020. Alvaro coordinated the Solar Decathlon Europe project for the Plateau Team in late 2013. Alvaro holds a Master's degree in Prevention of Occupational Risks from Universidad del Atlántico Medio, a certification as a Passivhaus Designer from Passivhaus Institute, and a degree in Technical Architecture from Universidad de Alcalá, focusing on energy-saving home automation.
