Ashish Gupta currently serves as the Head of Procurement for Asia, Africa, the Middle-East, Turkey, and CIS at Danone since July 2023. Prior to this, Ashish spent over 16 years at Unilever, where roles included Global Procurement Director for Palm and Oleochemicals, managing a spend exceeding USD 2 billion, and Procurement Director for South Asia, leading a team overseeing a portfolio with a turnover of over USD 1.5 billion. Ashish's experience encompasses supplier relationship management, sourcing strategy development, and operational efficiency improvements across various regions, including Russia, Africa, and the Philippines. Education includes an MBA in International Business with dual majors in Marketing and Finance from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
