Davis Gortner is a dedicated educator and experienced professional with a diverse background in tutoring, teaching, and healthcare. Currently serving as a tutor at Danny's Tutoring since January 2023, Davis has provided instruction in math, science, and English for middle and high school students. Previously, Davis taught science and engineering at Professor Egghead Science Academyâ„¢ and held roles as an Emergency Medical Technician at AMI Expeditionary Healthcare and American Medical Response. Davis's experience extends to physical therapy support at Hayashida Physical Therapy and fieldwork with the Santa Barbara Coastal LTER, focusing on aquatic research and kelp forest ecosystems. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from UC Santa Barbara and has pursued further educational opportunities through various extensions.
