Niels Kaas is the Chief Cashier and Chief Operational Risk Officer at Danmarks Nationalbank since May 2018. Niels oversees the procurement, management, and supply of cash, as well as physical security and operational risk management. Additionally, Niels chairs the crisis response unit for the Danish financial sector. Prior to this role, Niels held various positions at Nordea and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, focusing on operational risk management, regulations, analytics, and international trade.
