Sushmitha Bathula began their work experience as a software engineer at Danlaw Technologies India Limited in March 2010. Sushmitha held this position until February 2015. In March 2015, they transitioned to Danlaw, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they currently work.

Sushmitha Bathula pursued their Master's degree in Applied Electronics from Osmania University in Hyderabad from 2005 to 2007.
