Anne-Sofie Munk has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Anne-Sofie is currently the Director of the Humanitarian Innovative Finance Hub at the Danish Red Cross since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Advisor to the International Management at the Danish Red Cross from September 2020 to November 2022. Anne-Sofie also worked as a Strategic Partnerships Specialist at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from August 2018 to August 2020. Before that, they held the position of Strategic Partnership Advisor at the Danish Red Cross from January 2017 to August 2018. Anne-Sofie has also worked at Læger uden Grænser (MSF) as a Programme Officer from 2011 to 2016 and at Axis as a Programme Officer from May 2010 to January 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at Læger uden Grænser (MSF) for a brief period in 2010. Anne-Sofie has also worked at Udenrigsministeriet as a COP 15 Liasion officer in November-December 2009. Anne-Sofie began their career as a Programme Officer at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from 2006 to 2008. Anne-Sofie started their professional journey as an Administrative Assistant at The Association of Development Researchers in Denmark from August 2002 to October 2004.

Anne-Sofie Munk completed their High School diploma at Rungsted Gymnasium in 1994, where they studied Languages and Social Science. From 1992 to 1993, they attended the International School of Kenya (ISK) and obtained a High School Diploma. Anne-Sofie Munk later pursued their higher education at Roskilde University, where they completed their Cand.scient.soc. (Master's) degree in International Development Studies and Social Science in 2005. No further information is provided regarding their education at Hørsholm.
