Claus Rahbek has extensive work experience in various roles within the Danish Ministry of Defence and the Danish Armed Forces. Claus is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Danish Ministry of Defence, specifically for the Danish Homeguard Command. Prior to this role, Claus worked as a Chef and Officer in the Danish Armed Forces, where they held positions such as Projektchef, IT-chef, and Chef for Forsvarets Koncern IT datacenter og SOC. Claus was also involved in leading and managing projects related to cybersecurity and IT infrastructure. In addition to their military experience, Claus also served as the Kasserer for Forlev Spejdercenter and IT-administrator for Palles Taxi.
Claus Rahbek holds a Master's degree in IT leadership from IT-Universitetet i København, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a higher commercial examination at Varde handelsskole from 1997 to 2000. Claus also has certifications in various areas such as risk management for information security, information security, COBIT 5 Foundation, MoR foundation, the common state program model, MSP foundation & Practitioner, EU procurement for non-lawyers, the common state IT project model, ITIL Foundation, PRINCE 2 Foundation, and PRINCE 2 Practitioner.
