Julia Furtado is an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney, currently serving at Daniel Law since August 2021, specializing in trademarks, administrative litigation, unfair competition, and domain names. Prior to this role, Julia worked as an Intellectual Property Attorney at OURO PRETO ADVOGADOS and as an associated lawyer at Simões Propriedade Intelectual. Julia also held a position as a Junior Lawyer at Leonardo Amarante Advogados Associados, where responsibilities included drafting petitions, conducting hearings, and client engagement. Earlier experience includes a legal assistant role at Moreira e Monteiro de Castro Sociedade de Advogados and internships at the Procuradoria Geral do Município de Niterói, the Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, and a legal practice office where exposure spanned various legal areas such as family, labor, tax, and civil law. Julia completed a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedural Law at UERJ and obtained a law degree from Universidade La Salle.
