Merryn Gowhari has extensive experience in social services and community support, currently serving as a Tampa Chapter Officer, Site Coordinator, Volunteer Staff, and Alabama Chapter Lead at DanceSafe since August 2013. Previous roles include Family Service Counselor at Kids First of Florida, Prevention Specialist at Jewish Family and Community Services of Jacksonville, and Family Intensive Services Specialist at Tuscaloosa's One Place. Merryn also worked as a Social Services Caseworker at the Tuscaloosa County Department of Human Resources and as a Volunteer Camp Counselor with the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Additional experience includes positions at JNJ Apparel, The University of Alabama, and Michaels Arts and Crafts. Merryn holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama, where education was completed between 2010 and 2013.
