Gregory King, MFA, is an accomplished Associate Professor of Dance at Kent State University, where contributions include serving as the former Artistic Director of the Kent Dance Ensemble and currently as a Provost Faculty Associate. Gregory has a robust writing career with engagements at thINKingDANCE and Dance Media Publications since 2017 and 2020, respectively. Gregory also shares expertise as Summer Modern Dance Faculty at Boston Ballet and previously held positions at Swarthmore College and Dean College as an Assistant Professor of Dance. Educational achievements consist of multiple advanced degrees, including an MFA in Choreographic Practice and Theory from Southern Methodist University, a Doctor of Education in Interprofessional Leadership, and a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University. Additional qualifications include a Certificate in Arts and Culture Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Dimensions of Diversity from the University of Chicago.
