Tarig Mahameed is a seasoned professional specializing in Functional Safety and Systems Engineering within the automotive sector. Currently serving as a Functional Safety Technical Specialist at Dana Incorporated, Tarig develops Functional Safety artifacts for electrical vehicle inverter products. Previous experience includes roles as Systems Project Manager at Helm.ai, Senior Manager in Systems Functional Domain at VIA Motors, and Engineering Manager at Arriver/Zenuity, among others. Tarig has a strong track record in leading teams to design and implement highly automated driving systems, as well as extensive experience with Hardware In the Loop (HIL) testing.
