Niek Boersema is an experienced Systems Engineering Manager at Damen Naval since 2020, with a strong background in project and program management, technical development, and engineering improvements in various sectors including aerospace, defense, and rail. Previously, Niek held multiple roles at ADSE Consulting and Engineering from 2001 to 2022, culminating in positions as Partner and Senior Business Consultant, focusing on business development and client management. Niek also founded and served as Managing Director for ADSE Product Development BV and MovingDot BV, driving P&L responsibilities. Earlier in the career, Niek contributed to manufacturing improvements at Fokker Technologies and was a Management Trainee at Airbus. Niek holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
