Horacio Delgado is a seasoned professional in the maritime industry with extensive experience in commercial and operational management. Currently serving as Commercial Manager and Sales Manager for the Americas at Damen Shipyards Group since January 2013, Horacio has previously held various roles, including Regional Services Manager and Project Manager. Prior experience includes working as a Master Student at Bureau Veritas, where a master thesis focused on maritime risk analysis and safety management was developed, and a distinguished career in the Peruvian Navy as Commanding Officer of BAP Rio Tambo, among other leadership roles. Education includes a Master of Science in Marine Technology from Delft University of Technology, a Master's degree in Project Design and Management from Universidad de León, and a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture from the United States Naval Academy. Horacio also served as a Military Observer Advisor with the United Nations, showcasing strong capabilities in managing diverse teams and operations in complex environments.
