Mike Shedd

Head Video Coordinator at Dallas Mavericks

Mike Shedd enters his 15th season with the Mavericks and his second as player development coach/basketball technology director. Prior to being promoted to head video coordinator before the 2009-10 campaign, Shedd spent three seasons as the team’s assistant video coordinator. Shedd spent his 10th summer as an assistant coach on the Mavericks summer league team in 2019 and has helped direct the team’s draft workouts throughout most of his tenure. Prior to joining the Mavericks, Shedd spent four years as an assistant men's basketball coach with at Furman from 2002-06. Prior to his time at Furman, he spent two seasons at Ohio State, where he served as video coordinator and director of summer camps for the Lady Buckeye basketball program. In 2001, the Lady Buckeyes won the Women’s National Invitation Tournament. Prior to his stint at Ohio State, he spent three years at Eastern Michigan as the video coordinator and director of summer camps under head coach Milton Barnes. He was promoted to assistant coach for the 1999-2000 campaign. While at EMU, the Eagles captured the 1997-98 Mid-America Conference championship. A native of Albion, Michigan, Shedd earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Purdue University in 1997. He resides in Lewisville with his wife, Andrea, and two sons, Greyson and Jagger.
