Rosalind Reece

Dyslexia/reading Interventionist at Dallas Independent School District

Rosalind Reece, M.Ed., currently serves as a Dyslexia/Reading Interventionist for the Dallas Independent School District since November 2018. Prior to this role, Rosalind contributed to Dallas ISD as a Music Educator from August 2002 to 2018, where responsibilities included directing musical productions for elementary students, teaching music theory and instruments, and integrating literacy and math into music classes. Rosalind was recognized as a Distinguished Teacher and awarded Teacher of the Year for the 2012-2013 academic year. Additionally, Rosalind served as the Children's Worship Leader and Director of the Children's Choir at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship from October 2012 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Wesleyan University, and specialized training in the Wilson Reading System.
